      The lunch menu in the chinese restaurant is delicious, and very reasonable priced. I normally go with another person and our bill has yet to exceed $20. The service is amazing and the setting is beautful.

      The chinese food at Shanghai is the best in Grand Rapids! They use high quality of meats so you're not chewing on mystery meat like at some asian restaurants. Also, they have a large variety of items on their menu from korean food to sushi to the traditional chinese dishes, so you're bound to find something to satisfy everyone's tastes.



      We tried the japanese side to celebrate my friend's birthday and that was a delicious treat!!! The fried rice cooked on the grill is the like nothing I've ever tasted. Everyone loved thier orders of filet, shrimp and scallops. They give you huge portions of the meats and vegetables so we had yummy leftovers for the next day. Two thumbs up on food, service and atmosphere!

      Shang Hai Ichiban is a Chinese and Japanese cuisine restaurant located in Grand Rapids, Mich.
