- Internal MedicineI was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. After graduating from high school, I moved to Philadelphia to complete my undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in neuroscience. During my time at Penn, I competed on the Varsity Women’s Soccer team and served as a captain for two years. Although I hung up my cleats in 2009, I never relinquished the values that they represent: teamwork, discipline, passion and rising to challenges. Medicine, a team profession, has allowed me to build upon the skills I gained through athletics and thrive on a new turf. In 2010, I returned to Michigan and attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. I spent four years as a medical student in Grand Rapids and earned my M.D. in 2014. During that time, I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. I then moved to Denver to complete my internal medicine internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and my dermatology residency at the University of Colorado, where I served as chief resident in my final year. After graduating from residency in 2018, I underwent an additional year of fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery/Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Colorado. This specialized training equipped me with advanced skills in managing skin cancer and performing complex facial reconstruction. I am Board Certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and an author of numerous scientific publications and textbook chapters. I have performed more than 6,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions, as well as thousands of surgical excisions.

- IontophoresisHyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can significantly impact a person's quality of life. Fortunately, there are several medical treatment options available to help manage this condition. These range from topical treatments to more invasive procedures, depending on the severity and location of the sweating. Some of the primary medical interventions for hyperhidrosis include prescription-strength antiperspirants, oral medications, iontophoresis, botulinum toxin injections, microwave therapy, and in severe cases, surgical options. Each treatment approach has its own benefits and potential side effects, and the most appropriate option often depends on the individual patient's specific symptoms and needs.
