Located in Grand Rapids, Mich., North Oakview Elementary School provides learning opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade four. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, math, science and English language. The school also offers art, music and physical education programs. In addition, North Oakview Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher club that encourages parental involvement in children s education, as well as conducts conferences. The school also provides food services to students. Additionally, it organizes several recreational trips, walk-a-thons, and holiday and Halloween parties. North Oakview Elementary School is a part of Northview Public Schools, which also operates Highlands Middle School, East Oakview Elementary and Northview High School.
