The company has offices in Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and Cadillac. Feyen-Zylstra employs more than 240 people, and has annual revenues of more than $20 million. The company was founded in 1980 by Marlin Feyen and Robert Zylstra. It currently has approximately 100 employees. Feyen-Zylstra has earned numerous awards including the 2004 ABC Award of Excellence in the low voltage category.
