Collins Elementary School serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade four. The elementary school has a library that provides accessible reading materials for a range of interests at various levels. The library promotes reading and library skills through specially designed activities and programs. Collins Elementary School s curriculum includes reading, physical education, music, language arts, English, math, science, social studies and basic skills. The school also offers opportunities for students in fine arts, band, vocational education, and a variety of athletic and exploratory courses. With its campus in Grand Rapids, Mich., Collins Elementary School operates under Forest Hills Public Schools.
