      Avcor Health Care Products is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of compression dressings, thermal compression bandages and I.V. aids used in the institutional, retail and consumer health care markets. The company distributes its products through leading institutional distributors, which includes Allegiance Healthcare, Owens & Minor, McKesson HBOC, Bergen Brunswig, PHS and Burrows. Avcor started with a patented elastic bandage that features a self-closure technology, eliminating metal clips and tapes. Avcor has also developed a complementing line of products, designed and developed to provide the ultimate in convenience of use by hospital staff. Avcor began operations in 1984 and manufactures its products in Fort Worth, Texas.
