Everyone is always happy at first - the true test is 1+ year later - that's why Stonehill is the clear choice. We purchased a female GSD import from a kennel in the state of Washington. Our #1 crtieria was that it be good with young children and that it be trained. Scout was highy trained, but we were given no directions on how to handle her nor was she trustworthy with children. She soon became so protective that no one could come to our house and she could not be around our grandson. We tried several trainers, including a police dog trainer who would not come near her. Finally, in desperation, we drove 500 miles to get help from Chris. He not only retrained Scout, but he insisted that we make several trips to CT, so that we could learn how to be minimally capable dog owners. Scout now is a perfect lady. We then asked Chris to find a perfect trained clear headed male GSD for us. He found Cap, who is incredible in ways we could not imagine. Chris will not sell you a bad dog.
