Westview Middle School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science. The school conducts special education classes for children with physical disabilities. It administers English as Second Language and English Language Learners programs. Westview Middle School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It maintains a media center, as well as operates a student council and band. The school conducts various athletic programs and is a part of the Berkeley County School District. It operates a parent-teacher-student association that conducts several fundraising events and programs.
