The City of Goose Creek Fire Department works to preserve and protect lives and property through fire suppression and prevention, advanced life support and search and rescue services. It is comprised of more than 35 emergency medical technicians, firefighters and paramedics and over 10 volunteers. The department operates a training division that offers certification courses and conducts classes on various topics, such as fire and rescue, vehicle extrication and hazardous material awareness. The City of Goose Creek Fire Department maintains a communication and dispatch center that responds to emergency calls. The department utilizes a fleet of engines, tankers, squad and brush trucks, utility and aerial vans and life support ambulances. It also conducts building inspections and offers information regarding fire prevention and safety. The City of Goose Creek Fire Department is located in Goose Creek, S.C.
