The food is terrific but the employees and manager are atrocious. The communication between waiters is the worst I have seen. You have so many waiters coming to your table you don't know who is your waiter. They give you extra sushi that you didnt ask for and when you ask who was that for they ignore you for the rest of the night. We sat right in the middle of the place where there stand/ register was literally right in front of them. No one checked on us. They wouldn't take the extra plates or clean up our table of empty dishes. My friend son spilled his miso on accident and not on person came to bring napkins. They just stood and stared and talk amongst each other. During this time trying to enjoy me evening we have numerously called for the manager joe. The first time he came out he looked at us and walking into kitchen and refused to talk to us. Calm it was busy when it wasn't. Then someone came and told us we need to forgive and forget this happen. They try to charge my friend for the sushi we didn't order that they were suppose to look into. And took forever to even pick up our check when we tried to pay. The service outweighs the good food. I used to be a regular and it was never been this bad. But after that day i will never go back.

This place is great, great food good service and because of the great food they get busy which is also good

I was looking for a good and authentic Japanese restaurant in the west side and found this one on m.Yp.com and I decided to give it a try since there were a lot of good reviews.
I sat by the bar and had delicious sashimi-really, really good and super fresh, which is what I expect when going to any Japanese restaurant but not always get.
This a great spot to go alone or with more people. The staff is friendly, place is clean and cute and there are a bunch of tv's there in case you want to catch a game while having good food!
I will definitely go back!
