General Info
Historic Mansker's Station consists of a reproduction 1779 log station and the Bowen Plantation House, said the be the longest standing brick structure in Middle Tennessee. Tours with costumed interpreters allow visitors to experience both life on the frontier and life on a plantation. Located in the Visitor's Center, the museum at Historic Mansker's Station currently has a display of women's and children's clothing from the 18th century, tools of the frontier man, the process of flax from the garden to clothing, the restoration of the Bowen House, and artifacts recovered from an archaeological dig at the Bowen House.
