- Oral Cancer ScreeningWhen detected early, oral cancer is actually curable in 80-90% of cases, yet according to the Oral Cancer Foundation, one American dies of oral cancer approximately every hour of every day! That’s why we screen our patients for early detection. While tobacco and alcohol use are the primary lifestyle risk factors for oral cancer, surprisingly 27% of oral cancer victims do not use tobacco or alcohol, or have any other lifestyle risk factors. Please come in for your screening. It only takes 5 minutes and could save your life!
- Teeth CleaningIf you have any degree of gum disease, we can help. Gum disease used to require surgery more often than not. While surgery is still an option and sometimes needed, many cases are now treated with less invasive techniques first, such as deep dental cleanings, local antibiotics, and special mouth rinses.
- Fluoride TreatmentPlaque wears away at tooth enamel in a process known as “demineralization.” Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that promotes remineralization of enamel, thereby strengthening the teeth and helping protect them against decay. Fluoride can also help reverse early stages of tooth decay. Children with newly-erupted teeth (especially permanent teeth) can benefit a great deal from fluoride exposure, but adults should make sure their teeth come in contact with it, too. The safe and easy way to expose your teeth to fluoride is to use fluoride toothpaste. But there are also a number of gels, rinses, and in-office fluoride treatments we offer that can do the trick!
- Dental SealantsProper oral hygiene is essential for preventing cavities, but toothbrushes cannot always reach down into the deepest grooves of teeth. Dental sealants work by filling in grooves on the chewing surfaces of back teeth where food particles can get caught and cause cavities. The application of sealants is fast and comfortable, and sealants can effectively help protect teeth for many years.

- VeneersIf you’re ready for a dramatic smile makeover, porcelain veneers can totally change the appearance of your teeth to give you the smile of your dreams! Veneers are thin, custom-made casings applied to the front side of teeth to change their shape, color, or general appearance in practically any way you desire. After consulting with you about your treatment options, Dr. LeFebvre will create a model based on the smile makeover look of your choice. We will send the model to a dental technician in a lab who will then make your actual veneers with durable, tooth colored materials that will look and feel natural in your mouth.
- CrownsCrowns can be made of all-porcelain (ceramic) material, porcelain fused to metal, gold alloys, or base metal alloys. Each of these restorative materials has its advantages and disadvantages. Porcelain crowns most closely mimic natural tooth appearance, which is one of the reasons we prefer them. To save you valuable time, we can place crowns in only one visit using the CEREC® system.
- BridgesDental crowns, often called caps, cover teeth to restore them to their appropriate shape and size after large fillings, fractures, or weakening forces such as intense grinding. In all these cases, crowns not only cover teeth but provide added support. They can also be used to attach bridges, cover dental implants, restore seriously discolored or misshapen teeth, and even as a preventive measure to protect a tooth in danger of breaking. Dental bridges bridge gaps left by one or multiple missing teeth. The two teeth on either side of the gap to be bridged serve as anchor teeth. Each anchor tooth has a crown that attaches to the false tooth/teeth of the bridge. Dental bridges can be supported by natural teeth with crowns on top, or by implant-supported crowns.

- Root Canal TreatmentRelief from the pain of an infected tooth is a very welcome and immediate advantage to root canal therapy. Long-term benefits include saving your natural tooth and avoiding damage to the surrounding bone. Additionally, with continued dental care and good oral hygiene after root canal therapy, the restored tooth should last you many years.
- DenturesDr. LeFebvre uses only the best materials to fabricate his patients’ new dentures. With modern and improved methods, partial or full dentures can look just like natural teeth. While fabrication and fitting of your new teeth can take three to four appointments, you will understand when you receive your dentures that the time put into your new, natural-looking smile was well worth it.
- Dental ImplantsDr. LeFebvre believes it is best to have the same dentist who places your implants also be the one to restore them. This is why he has had training in both phases of implant dentistry, to enable you to receive all of your implant treatment in one office.

- General DentistryGeneral dentistry services involve diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance of general conditions and problems affecting the teeth, gums, and jaw. Prevention and gum care are fundamental parts of general dentistry, as are diagnosing and treating problems before they grow to be painful and often expensive. Keeping up with oral health is vital to overall health, and it can also significantly reduce the amount of money that you’ll need to spend on dental treatment later in life.
