      Goldsboro OB-GYN Associates, P.L.L.C. is a group of OB/GYN physicians and a certified nurse practitioner who strive to create an atmosphere of open communication with empathy and respect for the individual. This permits our patients to benefit from over 50 years of combined experience in obstetrics, advanced surgical skills and women’s healthcare. In addition, our providers are able to respond to individual patient concerns. Our physicians are board certified OB/GYN specialists who care. We provide individualized attention in a gentle and compassionate manner. It is our goal to provide the personal attention that acknowledges your uniqueness. We make every effort to deliver specialized care for your pregnancy and compassionate healthcare throughout your life. Dr. Robert Thiele grew up in New York until moving to West Virginia to attend Bethany College where he graduated with a BS in Biology. He went on to attend the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1995 with honors. During his time there he became a graduate teaching assistant in Osteopathic Manual Medicine which entailed an extra year of learning and teaching manual medicine. In 1996 he completed a traditional rotating internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He stayed at Doctors Hospital to complete his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2000. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He moved to Goldsboro with his Family in July of 2000. His practice is in general OB/GYN including minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. Additional interests are in teaching. He is an Associate Professor at the Campbell School of Osteopathic Medicine and participates in student education.
