      Offering chiropractics and pain management services. **We are a cash based practice! Chiropractic First! uses specific gentle chiropractic techniques that realign the spine. These techniques do not require any forceful or sudden twisting of the spine to bring about a correction. One technique we use is Atlas Orthogonal and another is the Activator. We are a cash based practice; meaning we are not in a network with any insurance company. If your insurance company has any out of network benefits, we will file them for you.

      Is your head on straight?The Atlas Orthogonal method uses a precise and gentle corrective force to the very first vertebrae in your spine, the atlas. It is located just underneath the skull. Although every other segments of the spine have a disc under them, the atlas does not. It is the lightest bone of the spine, it is the most mobile bone of the spine, and it does not have interlocking joints as do all the other segments. So, it takes much less force to manipulate it. The Atlas is the most important because, if it is out of alignment, your head is literally “not on straight”. When your head is off center, a righting reflect kicks in and your body adapts or compensates for that misalignment, shifting your hips, low back and shoulders to re-center your head. The atlas surrounds your brain stem, while misalignments can interfere in that delicate section of the nervous system ... also 11 of the 12 cranial nerves get their blood supply from the vertebral artery which passes through that vertebrae. While rotation of that light mobile bone can put pressure on that blood vessel.
