Family Counseling Center is a private, nonprofit organization that provides mental health education and services. The organization offers services to individual with mental disability, substance abuse, child welfare and developmental and disability services. It also offers follow-up treatment, evaluation and consultation care for consumers discharged from mental health facilities. The organization provides outpatient substance abuse treatment and child welfare and behavioral health services to children and adolescents. It additionally offers consultation services to social agencies, physicians, ministers and teachers. The organization provides informational and educational programs to civic groups, schools and businesses free on topics related to prevention of mental disabilities and substance abuse. Family Counseling Center is located in Golconda, Ill.
