Fantastic service. Personable crew, cleaned up very well, moved all yard ornaments before starting and put them all back when done. Warned us about noise when they were going to start the chipper so we could move our pets inside. All possible care to avoid any damage to any garden plants the downed tree was next to. Called one day and the next day they were on the job.

They were fast at starting the job and clearing the trees but failed to return to grind the stumps. Seven months later we settled in court. Don't pay them in full upfront, they won't finish the job.

snow removal & firewood

I hired J&S to plow my long driveway. Jim did a good job clearing areas that were quite deep, & spent a good deal of time doing it. His charges were quite reasonable, I thought. Later, I ran out of my own accessible firewood, and I asked for a "face cord" (1/3 of a cord). They delivered more than that of very good quality wood, also for a reasonable price.
