Best place to stay in town. Everytime we went to Glenwood we tried a different motel and after a dozen of check-ins to other places we found Silver Spruce Motel. It's been a pleasure to stay in this peaceful and conveniently located motel with delicious breakfast and European atmosphere all around as well as walking distance to all of town's attractions. Just perfect!!!
I disagree, i have had a great time and wonderful stay at this motel. I loved the owners and their casually friendly ways. Very sweet and nothing like what you are describing. Very sad you have experienced it that way I have been treated with most respect and had been accompanied by friends who had been returning customers for many year.

The owner is rude and mean! Tried to kick us out for talking to a person with a dog, in a no dog zone. Last thing you want to do is talk to the police when your on your stay. He has entered in the room with NO permission from us and pushed my girl friend out of the way, by the way she is injured and in a great deal of pain! All just to make false accusations of smoking in the room because we smoke out side like normal people. In short you are not save here at all and your privacy will be violated!!! Especially if your a nice young couple that only treat his propriety with the up most respect and just happen to like to have colorful hair with piercings! Stay at the Glenwood motor in across the street, worth the extra cash and to deal with a professional company.
We were just passing through and found this motel. We paid $64.00 for a night. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.
when we checked in the woman behind the desk did not want to honor the on line booking we made, when we objected, she said" you want to argue with me, go ahead i never lose"she tried to book us into a smoking room and when we told her we had asthma and could not do that, she replies, "sure i have heard that excuse before"i do not know if she was the owner, or an employee, but i would have fired her on the spot if she worked for me.the facilities were clean and comfortable for the price, but service was rude and unprofessional.i will not be back, even though i come to Glenwood Springs often.

It is great place to be always. Nice rooms, good kitchen set up for family. Nice location to go every where you need to while you staying.
