Provided by YP.comI am absolutely appalled with the doctors associated with this pet hospital, Dr. Locke and Dr. Parr. I took my almost 2 year old dog, Leo to see Dr. Parr because he seemed to have a problem in his mouth. Dr. Parr took a brief look at Leo's back tooth, noticed swelling and redness and immediately said he had an abscess and needed his tooth taken out. She proceeded to give me a summary of the fees for the procedure which totaled near $700. I bought the antibiotics and paid for this appointment- total of $120 and then went to another vet for a second opinion. The other vet looked up at the roof of the Leo's mouth to find a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth causing infection and his gums to be swollen- total $45 for this appointment. When I spoke with Dr. Locke about my disappointment and asked for a refund for the visit (since Dr. Parr completely misdiagnosed Leo), he showed little sympathy and offered me a credit to be used at his vet for $66. When I explained to him that I would not be using his vet any longer and would like a refund for the visit, he refused to do so. After all of the money and time I've spent at this vet for the last 8 years on multiple animals... dogs, guinea pig.. I would have expected more respect and concern for my pet. It is people like this who give vet doctors a bad name.

Provided by DexKnowsI have been taking my pets there since 1976. They truly care about your animals. The doctor cried with me when we had to put our beloved dog of 16 years down. You feel like family and no question is ever too silly to be answered. The vets will call and check on how your pet is doing when they are ill.
