Because many car owners did not like Delta s spinning cloth brushes, the company hired chemists and engineers to develop special, pH-balanced soap formulas and mild lotions. The company later built its own soap and manufacturing plants so that it had the right ingredients and equipment. Delta later gave a brand new meaning to car washes when it developed the first touch-less car wash. With this revolutionary new wash, no spinning brushes ever touch a car s exterior.
