I highly recommend Whitman Chevrolet for Auto service. They were a Godsend. I have a 2008 Chevy Colbalt that has well over 100,000 miles on iT. My inspection had expired and my check engine light had come on. I know nothing about cars and being a woman I expected this would be bad. They worked on my car for hours investigating the error. They even had to run to get a specific part. My bill was only for the inpection. All of the rest of the work was covered under the manufacturer's warranty to my surprise. They also told me that there was a recall on the vehicle and they ordered the parts. I'm on my way to pick it up now, again no charge. They have been great explaining everything to me and providing me with all of the paperwork and details of the work done. I'm happy to know I can rely on them and will not hesitate to call on them in the future.

They cannot replace your IPOD because God knows who stole it. For all you know they could have left your car unlocked in the parking lot for whoever was walking on the street to take it. It just goes to show you you cannot leave your possessions in the car while getting it repaired. This is the true-blue rule anytime you leave your car. You never know who can come take your things when you forgot to lock your car, or if someone bold enough to break in after they see a shiny new Ipod laying around. Same thing goes for your purse. I'm surprised you didn't know that- Well you do now!
As for Whiteman Chevrolet:
I have an outdated car that needed repair, and I took it to an independant shop on DIX AVE. that needed to get a part from them- they promptly sent the part over and I was on my way. The part hasn't given me trouble since, so I can't say anything bad.
I wouldnt recommend the location to my worst enemy. First I scheduled my car for several repairs and service. The brand new 2008 Chevrolet Malibu's onstar service was not working because the module had failed. The interior lights have been flickering since I recieved the vehicle. I dropped my vehicle off and by the time I picked up the vehicle 5 days later, the oil change was done. The light cover not changed, the interior and dash lights still are not working correctly, the trunk ajar indicator is still inidcating that the trunk is open, and the CHERRY ON THE CAKE... "MY IPOD TOUCH WAS MISSING FROM THE CAR". So lets see, I return the car to have the module replaced, the light cover changed and the trunk ajar indicator to be repaired. 2 days later i was told that everything was completed, so I take off with the car and as soon as I leave BAM "TRUNK AJAR" STILL LIGHTS UP, A DAY LATER I REALIZE THAT THE LIGHT COVER IS STILL UN REPAIRED. So I call the service dept. they start by stating oh yea come back in and we will take care of everything. I prefer to drive the car with a broken tail light and my lights flickering, and TRUNK AJAR indicator still not repaired than ever take my vehicle back to the night mare. OH YEA DOUG SERVICE DEPT. MNGR STATES THAT THEY CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY IPOD. WHEN COMPANIES LIKE THIS BLATENTLY LIE AND DONT TAKE RESPONSIBLITY AND OR ACOUNTABILITY IT MAKES ME WONDER HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. I WAS AND STILL AM VERY DISATISFIED.............. AL I WILL TELL MY STORY TO ALL THAT WILL LISTEN UNTIL THEY REPLACE MY IPOD..... THE LEAST THEY CAN DO.....
