General Info
From of our family to yours, Carousel is the premier Los Angeles area restaurant providing guests with the complete culinary experience when it comes to enjoying traditional middle eastern and Lebanese cuisine. Meza, the Lebanese term for appetizer is one of the most characteristic elements of Lebanese Food. In the Middle Eastern culture, meza consists of a vast array of hot and cold dishes, served in small size portions to allow the patron to sample and share a sizeable variety of items. Everything that we serve comes from original family recipes passed down through generations. With the supervision of our Chef de Cuisine and co-owner, Mrs. Rose Tcholakian, each dish that is served is sure to bestow the quality and freshness Carousel is well known for. For those unfamiliar to Lebanese food, a helpful service staff will guide you through what is sure to be a habit-forming journey.

Provided by YP.comI brought two admins here for lunch on Admin's Day, and we enjoyed our chicken and beef kabobs. The chicken was better than the beef, the beef had a slight tart taste to it. I think Panini Café has a better chicken kabob. Loved the dessert, Oreo Fudge Delight!!

Provided by YP.comWalking into Carousel is unlike any other business on Brand Blvd. You are actually transported to a whole new place. The service and decor are impeccable, however, you do pay for this added ambiance (it's definitely a big step up from Zankou).
The dishes are well executed and delicious. And surprisingly the french fries are amazing with any of their dishes (~$12-18).
I'd definitely go back again, and I'm looking forward to their appetizer plate. The fried meat ball and cheese rolls are simply delectable.

Provided by YP.comCarousel resturant is one of the best Persian-Armenian restaurants in the Glendale area. With it's great pattio arrangement as well as it's cozy private indoor area, Carousel is theplace to be with family and friends. With a great group of service and lively music, Carousel is the place to eat.

Provided by YP.comI recently started working nearby, and have been here several times for lunch. It's a favorite among my peers. They have plenty of space for larger lunch groups, and the ambiance is fantastic and really gives you the feel for the culture. The service is very friendly too.
They have an extensive lunch menu with plenty of meat dishes, but I'm vegetarian so I haven't tried any of them. However, it is popular among my meat-eating peers. For us vegetarians, there are no fewer than 7 lunch entrees without meat, including several Mediterranean dishes I haven't seen elsewhere, like their spicy walnut dip and their vegetarian fava bean stew.

Provided by YP.comExcellent.
Food, Service, everything was wonderful.
I went with a group of 4 adults and although a little pricy they presented us with more food then we could ever eat, and everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Warning – Friday and Saturday night there is a dress code and entertainment.

I have three words for the food at the Carousel - WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL AND WONDERFUL. Everything is fresh, delicious and very authentic. The service is also very friendly and relaxed. They do not rush you, even though the food comes out very fast, they do not push you out. It's tradition to talk & eat! Enjoy. It is my favorite place which I visit from San Francisco....

The food is good, but the service left something to be desired. The waiter began by rudely taking our order, then proceeded to plop down our drinks (splashing our water and soda onto the table). After our meal, which was delicious, we paid our check, gave a sizeable tip (almost 20%), and left. We (my family and I) were about ten feet out the door, when our waiter runs out and says "Excuse me, Did you think the tip was included." I looked at him, dumbstruck, and said "No, I included it." He then says, "Oh ok." I said, "Give it to me, I'll fix it." I then added a few more dollars. He then went back into the restaurant. After a few moments, I realized that I had just been bullied by the waiter for a few extra bucks. His actions left me with a queazy feeling for the rest of the night. So, if you're in the mood for some good middle eastern food, I would recommend the Carousel, but carry out only! What a shame!
