Sonoran Sky Elementary School, located in Glendale, Ariz., provides academic programs to more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through eight. It offers classes in various subjects that include language arts, English, mathematics, social studies, foreign languages, and health and physical education. In addition, it provides training classes in reading and speaking skills. The school has a library and undertakes various behavior improvement programs for students. The school undertakes a literacy program that promotes book discussion, cooperative learning, and reading, artistic, study and problem solving skills. It organizes various competitive game programs. It also undertakes lunch programs for students. The school is a part of the Pendergast School District.
