I've been tanning at Pure-Tan for almost 3 years now. The beds are clean, and the staff is very friendly. This salon is affordable, $19.95 a month is unbeatable. The "super beds" included in this deal aren't the most luxurious, however they get the job done. The front desk staff will always inform you about daily specials for bed upgrades (which I do every few weeks) I like this because it gives you the opportunity to use the stand-up, orbit etc. I highly recommend this salon..clean, affordable, convenient, pleasant staff and gets you tan!

bought a monthly tanning pkg there and every time they tried to get me to upgrade to more expensive beds got tired of the pressure. The last couple of times they said I would have to wait for a basic bed even though the place looked empty. Went a couple days in a row and still didn't get to tan unless I wanted to pay for an upgrade. They need some serious customer service skills> Guess they aren't into loyalty...

I am a lifetime lifter (aka "gym rat") and have belonged to gyms that have had tanning beds/booths in the past. I would tan there simply because it was so convenient. The gym I go to now does not offer tanning and I heard about Puretan. I love the place. The girls are friendly, remember your name and provide great service. The place is clean AND AFFORDABLE !!! I have also belonged to other tanning places as well, but never had as good experience as with Puretan. A lot of these places will charge you 2 or 3 times more than Puretan for monthly unlimited packages. I mean $19.95 a month !!! Are you kidding! That's an awesome price!!! -Todd

In my opinion you get what you pay for... As far as the cancellation you SIGN a waiver saying you know you have to cancel in store and as far as that goes, I was EXPLAINED by them in person that you would have to do that. You can't get mad over that. I love it there and the price is great! With pure tan I am able to afford a tanning membership and gym membership.. VERY affordable. I have been a planet beach member and numerous salons when I lived and worked in Scottsdale.. You get what you pay for and in my opinion they are VERY generous and understanding. I paid 59 dollars to start and I am not due for 2 months on a payment.. You don't find that a lot! Love love love it! All the girls are very friendly and I have not yet had to wait at all! No reason to be mad over something you were made aware of!!!!

I just finished writing a review elsewhere about this specific tanning location, but I am so disgusted with the poor customer service that I am willing to write one again, if it will save someone from being taken advantage of. If you move and do not have the time to cancel ahead of time, you will have to pay PureTan every month until you can find the time and money to cancel in person. They REFUSE to let me cancel my membership over the phone, even though I can provide every detail of information they need. I can change my address or do a number of much more private matters in a similar manner, but God forbid I cancel my tanning membership over the phone! That is rediculous. This location is managed to work against customers, rather than with them, showing how inflexible and unappreciative it is of your business.
