I've been coming to Oak Arizona for years and have had nothing but good experiences. Nice furniture and great customer service.

I ordered 2 bookcases on Aug 30, 2014. They were delivered on Oct 15 within the 6 week timeframe they said. (Reason for 1 star)

When I received them the bookcases didn't match up. I was told by the delivery person that my floors were not level. We did put a level on the floors and they were level. My husband had to drill two holes and screw the bookcases together so they would match up. I then went to put the shelves in. Out of 13 adjustable shelves that I could install (not enough pegs were left for the other 2 I had), 12 shelves were uneven and wobbled. We put a level on the pegs and the holes were not aligned. One shelf had to be redone because it was rough. I contacted the store by phone and email explaining the problems I had with the bookcases. On Nov 4 they delivered a new shelf which came out nice. They did not bring enough pegs for the 2 shelves that I couldn't install. For leveling of the shelves they brought out larger pegs and felt pads. To make my shelves so they won't wobble I have non matching pegs, felts on some of the pegs....They are supposedly mailing me more pegs and felts so I can install the other shelves and level out the shelves that didn't get fixed because they didn't have enough pegs and felts with them (even though they had the email telling them the number of wobbly shelves).

I paid $1300 for 2 bookcases. I expected to get quality bookcases for this price. Instead I have bookcases that serve their purpose, look nice, but have been "jerry-rigged" so the shelves don't wobble. I can not recommend this company to provide quality bookcases.

Just wanted you to know that we have suggested to the City of Surprise that they get you to open a store in Surprise. We love your store and love the quality and selection of your merchandise - as well as your great staff. People out in this growing end of the valley don't have businesses like yours - and yet, with Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, and Corta Bella, we certainly have the resources to support businesses like yours. The Sun Cities are undergoing a huge turnover, with Boomers moving in all over. Most of the neighbors on our street have been replaced with younger people, all of them professional retirees. The vast majority of us are comfortable in our retirement, yet there are few places out here to purchase the quality of goods we want. Please think about moving out our way! My husband and I were so amazed by the help that your store gave us. We were having trouble with our dining room chairs as when you would bend over to pick something up the chair would have a tendence to slip out from under you. Being our age it would be a disaseter. So I called Oak of Ariz. and much to my surprise they said come on down and select a different chairs. I have never been treated so well. You can imagine that we will be doing more shopping with Your store. In about 3 weeks we will be getting four more chairs that are not so big for our dining room and we are able to keep the chairs until the new ones come in. Talk about service.
