Glendale Community College is one of the leading educational institutions in the United States. Located in Glendale, Ariz., the college has been operational for more than 40 years. It offers majors in more than 35 academic areas, including accounting, American studies, anthropology and sociology, fine arts, biology, chemistry, business administration, classical studies, criminal justice, economics, childhood education, mechanical and civil engineering, English literature, environmental studies, and foreign languages. The college also offers majors in world history, human services, individualized studies, mathematics, medical technology, vocational and instrumental music, nursing, philosophy and religion, political science, psychology, public affairs, and social studies. A National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III college, it offers various intercollegiate, intramural and recreational sports programs.
