- The Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies is a state-certified, nonprofit facility that provides treatment for children who suffer from autism and other developmental disorders. Founded in 1978, the center is spread over an area of more than 7,500 square feet. The Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies provides services for children and adults between the ages of 3 and 22. The center offers occupational, speech and recreational therapies. The Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies provides cognitive skills development, Emotional control and social interaction services. The center offers its services through the Lorna Jean King Therapy Center and Temple Grandin School. The Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies provides services for the development of independents living skills, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating. The center also offers after-school programs.
