Apollo High School governs a wide range of departments, such as English, business, mathematics, science and social studies. Additionally, its departments include visual arts and family and consumer sciences. Its science program includes classes in medicine, astronomy, environmental science, physiology and plant biology. The school also offers studies in performing arts, and health and physical education. It additionally provides various classes in technology education and the schools foreign language department offers courses in various languages, such as Italian, French, Spanish and German. Its activity classes include programs in music, dance and drama. Apollo High School also offers computer, technology and culinary arts labs, and a multimedia center.
