Always consistently great food and byob

went to Tani - love the atmosphere! food was great - service was great! Very "New York" feel to it. Nice presentation of food as well.

I went to Tani and I found a couple of hairs in my dishes. Also the service was terrible. They did not refill my glass of water and they kept on clearing the dishes even when i was still eating. My wife found a bone in her Spicy Salmon Roll and the food was not fresh at all... I really do not recommend dining at this restaurant.

My wife and I have tried Tani once so far.We got the spicy tuna and the dragon roll. Both were amazing with good portion sizes. I also got one of the mixed seafood dishes with brown rice. Again, good portion size and delicious meal. Green tea ice cream was also delicious. Atmosphere was different. Modern, noisy with a intimate feel (if possible). Service was good. They were very attentive to us all evening. BYOB was nice as well with no corking fee. We plan on going back several times. Hopefully the quality stays the same as they become busier.

Great Food. Terrible service. Dined here twice for both lunch and dinner. Both times they served the wrong food. First time we had to ask several times to refill our drinks. Pulled the glass out of my daughters hand to refill her water. The table next to us had all the wrong food and served their food at all different times. Thought I would give them another chance and went there for lunch. Again the food was good, my husband enjoyed the sushi, but the 3 of us received our entrees at different times and one item was incorrect. When my daughter had an appetizer they brought out three plates, when she was the only one eating they took the plates away and placed them back into to clean pile. They need to pick up on there service to meet the quality of the food.
