Long Island Lutheran High School has English, science, social studies, fine arts and mathematics departments. The school s curriculum includes physical education, religion, and business and computer science. It offers distance learning classes in business communications, journalism, philosophy and sociology. Long Island Lutheran High School supports several sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross county, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. The school s foreign language department includes French and Spanish. It also organizes special classes in ceramics, sculpture, computer graphics, dance, music, drawing and painting. Long Island Lutheran High School has a library that houses a collection of dictionaries, encyclopedias, newspapers, textbooks and reference materials.
