- HighlightsDr. Melikian has studied karate with the Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs (ISKC) and holds the rank of Ni Dan (2nd degree black belt). The highlights of her competitive career include a national title in 2001 and training with the USA team at Lake Placid Olympic Training Center. Although she is no longer teaching, this is still a large part of her life, and she continues to volunteer with Atlanta Shotokan Karate.

She has been in practice since 2008, and focusing on women’s health by integrating and applying her knowledge of acupuncture, nutrition, herbs, and chiropractic for a more comprehensive approach. She has also studied Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). And Dr. Melikian is certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) in Webster Technique for helping pregnant women.
