Our firm is dedicated to helping clients resolve their issues in a manner that suits their best interests. At Timothy J. Mummert, P.A., we have experience helping clients who have concerns in family law, including divorce, custody, adoption, and same-sex issues. We can educate and represent clients in collaborative law as a peaceful means of resolving their divorce dispute. We also provide mediation services, both as counsel and impartial party in a family law or civil dispute case. Attorney Timothy J. Mummert is a trained mediator and a volunteer for the district court mediation program, as well as being a member of the Anne Arundel County Collaborative Law Group. He is also involved in giving back to the legal community, a representative activity being his role as presenter for the Maryland State Bar Association's Solo and Small Firm Conference on November 3, 2007, his select topic being The Next Big Debate: PALM v. Blackberrry. Mr. Mummert is additionally involved in a central way with the betterment of his community. He is, for example, treasurer for the community organization Ravens Nest (www.ravensnest13.com), which promotes community organization events. In 2007, Ravens Nest participated in a number of charitable activities, including the adoption of 41 children and provision of their school supplies.
