Provided by YP.comWe checked this place out because we haven't had much other than chain places in the area. It was busy but not crowded when we got there, but it was also past the dinner rush. We were seated right away and everyone was very polite and nice. Our drinks and meal came really quick, which was nice dining with a child. The booths are high, so a child would have to stand up and turn around to bother someone. You can also sit right next to a window so a child can look out if they want. The salsa was good and the chips very fresh. The cheese they use is different than what I'm used to and seemed to be in everything. I would have liked a little more variety. The portion sizes were average. I was surprised that the chicken tenders were really good, though my daughter was more interested in the queso.

I am of mexican descent and originally from San Diego (which is very close to the Mexican border) and I can testify to the authentic taste of "Garibaldi's" food. No other local "Mexican Restaurant" has come close to Garibaldi's or even compare to the homemade cuisine and abundance of taco shops I'm use to eating from! Try them, you'll like them!
I moved from Austin, Tx back to Maryland over 20 years ago but never found a place that tasted like the homestyle Northern Mexican so ubiquitous in Texas until I found Plaza Garibaldi. It's run by an extended family and friends, pretty much the same people since I started eating there several years ago. The food is always good, tasty, hot and consistent - nothing fancy, this isn't haute interior Mexican cuisine, this is standard Tex-Mex but they keep it simple and do it right. A big plate of yellow rice, refried beans, some lettuce and avocado wedges with a squeeze of lime, pico de gallo, warm tortillas, real tamales, perfect enchiladas, excellent chunky pork chile verde (house speciality!), succulent carnitas (hunks of pork basted and cooked in a hot oven until crispy outside and tender inside ) and the best chiles rellenos I've ever had. Lots of food and cheap prices, strong drinks and cold beer - several Mexican types. Even the flan is great for dessert - what's not to like?!

Provided by YP.comWe have been going to Plaza Garibaldi since it open over 12 years ago. We moved away 7 years ago, but whenever we fly out of BWI we make sure to stop by for dinner. They have a lot of employees that have been there since opening that says alot about a restaurant. Arrive early though, it is always full.
This place is great authentic taste! If you haven't tried it, you should drive right past the Pablo's.....
