Corkran Middle School enrolls more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school has a guidance and counseling department that offers several programs, such as peer mediation and educational talent search. Its core curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. Corkran Middle School has a foreign language department that offers classes in Spanish and French. The school offers a special education program for students with physical and mental disabilities. Its media center s collection includes more than 6,000 fiction and reference books, as well as over 15 sets of encyclopedias and magazine subscriptions.
