We just had our liner replaced by Mermaid Pool and Joe and Company did superb job. Everything was done on time and the installation was perfect from the replacement of the pipes to the installation of the corner stairs to the liner installation. From day one everything was explained to us before hand so that we felt very comfortable. After viewing the other reviews my guess is that they were made by competitors because I have been buying supplies from them for 30 years so when I needed a new liner I called them. They came out, spent alot of time measuring, gave me a price before they left and held to it. They returned calls promptly and we could not be any happier. I recommend Mermaid Pools with any reservations.

Order of events and why I will never use mermaid pools again or any vendor that buys products through them.





Monday – Went into the store asking for help on my green pool. I brought a pool sample with me also the printout of my chemistry from another store. I was told that they would have it clean by the weekend if I came in everyday with my sample and did only what they told me to. The guy I spoke with said he wouldn’t be there tomorrow, but would leave instructions on what he wanted done with the women that was also there. Purchased chemical and left for the day.





Tuesday – I came back again with my sample and the 2 people that were there on Monday were not there. Talked with another guy and he sold me algaecide and liquid shock. Telling me that this will clear up the pool. I put the chemicals in like he instructed and left the pool to run over night.





Wednesday – Went back with a pool sample and before and after pictures. NO CHANGE. Talked with the same guy from Tuesday and he was stumped. I left my address, email, phone number and emailed the pictures to them to show to the owners. I left with assurances that he would talk to the owners and get back to me.





Thursday – Called the store to check on the status. I was told that they didn’t forget about me and still needed to talk to the owners and would call me back.



2 weeks later.

Wednesday – I went back into the store to get my money back from the chemicals. Talked with the same guy and asked for my money back. He said he couldn’t remember how we left it. I told him that they were supposed to call me back 2 weeks ago and I wanted my money back. He stated “sorry, that’s PROBABLY my fault.” Received my money back and will never go back again.
