General Info
N Control Driving School is unique to any other drivers education. We are the first and only licensed driving school in Arizona to have a SKID VEHICLE. We teach advanced techniques in car control from behind the wheel not from behind a desk. It is impossible to learn how to control a car or know what to do when faced with an emergency by reading about it in a book, sitting behind a desk or driving a simulator. You must feel the momentum you've built up behind the vehicle and its direction to be able to control it. There is so much more to controlling a vehicle. We train our students on how your inputs into the controls will transfer the weight in the car and the discipline to keep your vision looking where you want to go not where the car's going. We not only have the equipment to teach new drivers, we also have the background to back it up. Steve Imhoff, the founder and owner of N Control Driving School has been in the auto industry since 1987 as a professional race car driver and instructor. During Steve's racing career he competed on some of the most technical and fastest race tracks throughout the United States. The same techniques Steve used to control a high powered race car can be applied to your everyday passenger vehicle making you a more alert and safer driver. At the same time Steve was pursuing his racing career he was one of the chief instructors at the Bob Bondurant School of high performance driving in Chandler, AZ for eleven years until he resigned in 2002 to start N Control.

Outstanding hands on driver education course! Not only will you feel more confident about your teensability to handle everyday driving and emergency situations but your teen will gain invaluable knowledge about accident avoidance and car control. Nothing can come close to actually learning maneuvers in a real vehicle, not a simulator or pages from a manual.
