Founded in 1986, Mesquite Junior High School provides learning opportunities to more than 1,000 students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, language arts, physical education, music, science, computers and art. The school has a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events. It additionally offers an online accelerated reader database. The school s library has a collection of academic and nonacademic books, magazines, newspapers, reference materials and electronic resources.
