Established in 1913, Gilbert Elementary School provides academic programs to more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade six. Located in Gilbert, Ariz., the school offers various subjects, including art, music, physical education, reading, language arts, special education, speech, technology, science and social studies. Gilbert Elementary School also offers various sports activities, including softball, track and field, football and baseball. The school operates various clubs, such as run and walk, chess, art, reading, Tiger Town News and newspaper clubs. Gilbert Elementary School offers various programs, such as peer tutors and mediation and CHAMPS, which provide opportunities to students to work together and assist other students in their learning.
