We paid for our son (5 yrs old) to play on a flag football team. We were notified quickly after, as a team, that there was not a coach. I could not coach this team bc I coach our other son's baseball team. My wife offered, however asked to be the last resort as she had never played before but could run the drills, she did not want the team cancelled. Apparently her desire to coach and not let the team get cancelled was not taken into consideration, whether it was her gender or lack of experience. She was not even given a phone call to talk about the situation or even given any material to help her coach. (she was given coaching info to coach our son's soccer team for 2 years) The notice of our team cancelled came with no contact to me or her.
