I boarded my horse at this facility for a while. The stalls never were fully cleaned...pee puddles were hidden under the shavings. I was told I would get one cart of new fresh shavings once a week..my horse rarely received fresh new shavings. Horses were supposed to be turned out at least 3 times a week by the owner or employee..but as it turns out my horse only was turned out when I put him out. When I came to look at the facility I was told there were lights in the arena...later finding that the lights didnt work and never have. The arena doesnt have good footing and was maybe once dragged. I found on 4 or 5 occasions when my horse had not been feed. The owner of the facility is full of DRAMA. Along with many other faults.

We boarded there for a while and the facility is not properly maintained. The stalls are not being cleaned, shavings are sparse and the horses are not being turned out. The arena is rarely dragged, branches overhang and the lights do not work. We would not recommend this place for boarding.

I boarded my horse with Cherokee Arabians for about 6 years. It was a wonderful, clean place up until about a year ago. Now the stalls are a mess, pee doesn't get picked out, therefore maggots and mold are growing in the stalls. The owner Halene, refuses to admit there is a problem and is not correcting the problem. She refuses to refund money even though the stall conditions are beyond repair. Sometimes greed gets the best of people and this is certainly the case with Cherokee Arabians. Not only would I NOT recommend this barn, but I warn anyone that the owner is impossible to deal with, she's very confrontational, and lies on a constant basis.
