Have had several discussions with staff regarding how to best help my child. Staff has been very helpful and courteous. Changing tutors within the Gig Harbor Sylvan has greatly improved the experience for my child.

The staff is very attentive and available for consult regarding my child. I don't know that my daughter is on track with the goals set out at the beginning of her tutoring program, but will find out more during my next meeting with the director. I think that it may take longer than the prescribed 36 hours in order for her to increase a grade level. But I am sure that the staff will help her with whatever she needs to accomplish.

Last summer I paid some parental penalty points for our summer attending Sylvan for her math review. But when school started this last September, she came home from her geometry class and said "Dad I'm so glad I went to Sylvan." I also have a call into Karen to start scheduling a 6 week summer math review for her. G. Brown

This is a repeat visit back to Sylvan for our daughter Taylor. All of your employees are very kind and understanding to our daughters situation. The one on one really helps Taylor with her self confidence. The money invested going to Sylvan will be repaid to us by giving her the tools she will have for the rest of her life!!

My child broke down crying while taking the assessment test and staff was very helpful about coming back another day and after that he has been fine and happy!! Thanks to your staff is doing great!!

My child is doing better at math this year although he still has a long ways to go in catching up.

I told my daughter that she would be finished going to Sylvan at the end of the summer and she begged me to keep going. That pretty much says it all. Sylvan has made all the difference in the world to my daughter.

Karen and Heather explain what is going on with your child, and show excitement when he or she is meeting their progress goals. The teachers seem to listen and are great with students when asking about homework questions.

My son feels important and because he is in a safe learning environment, he is thriving.

This Fall will show how effective the Study Skills/Organizational Skills have been when Sabrina has her new schedule. I'm not sure about how the math is helping but hope it'll help her w/ Algebra. Karen is most helpful & Sabrina has shown progress in some math areas. Karen is most responsive to my questions & is very helpful

My son REALLY likes the tokens!!! He also like his Teacher, Ms Pat. An observation I have made is the waiting area is rather small. It's a busy place, with a small foyer/waiting area. Maybe most parents drop their children off, then leave?

The amount of self esteem she has gained in the short period of time she has been there, has been AMAZING!!!

I really appreciate your program and staff. I hope that Lori is enjoying her new project. Karen is doing a great job. The teachers are smart and make the lessons meaningful. The program is targeted but still fun. Both of our boys benefit from the time they spend at the center! Your program and great. The summer tuition sale was a nice way to get more for our money - thanks.

I appreciate Heather's enthusiasm to engage our son. He looks forward to seeing her a couple days a week and that speaks volume's!

My daughter is on track for completing a full lesson every visit and will be at her appropriate reading level by start of the new school year. She loves going and her progress is steady. I'm very happy.

My daughter is no longer going to Sylvan for reading because she progressed so quickly. We love the program so much that now she is doing math. It's made all the difference in the world.

I have heard so much about Sylvan on the television and it sounded very promising for positive results. We have had a good experience...basically for SAT prep.
