This is in response to the previous rating. The customer who wrote this did indeed get delaminations in their spa. They were provided with the options as stated clearly in the warranty (which is backed by the manufacturer, not by the dealer). The manufacturer provided three choices per the warranty: 1) Repair the spa 2) Provide a monetary refund for the aesthetic issues related to the delaminations 3) or replace the spa. The customer elected to upgrade to another model and pay the freight. It was their choice. It is unfortunate when a product has a problem and no one likes to have to have it happen. The husband in this situation was intelligent and pleasant to work with in resolving the issue. The wife was not. The customer had choices that would have cost them nothing....they chose to upgrade to another model and pay the freight. The mfr accomodated them and we facilitated the exchange.

We purchased a new Emerald spa in 2007 from Aqua Spas & Pools in Gig Harbor. After months of research we felt that this was a good choice with all the manufacters out there. After only a year installed our Hot tub started to get blisters. We called the owner and told him the problem. The Hot tub came with a great extensive warranty that was presented to us at the time of purchase. They claim they have not had any problems in his 13 yrs of business. We requested a new tub be ordered. Our tub was built into a deck not an easy fix. After reading the fine print it states sure they will replace it but with a charge $600 for the new and $600 for the old to be returned. Total $1200 out of our pocket. After all we paid $6000 now we have to pay an additional fee. The owner states Times are tough. So I the consumer should have to eat there faulty tub. After months of negotiating we ended up upgrading and still had to pay the $600 delivery fee for a total of $2300+. Great customer service!!! Do
