I initially had a franchise closet company do my son's closet and it was ok but when I asked for an estimate for my master closet I was surprised by the price and thought I should get some others quotes. One other company offered the same "custom" closet organizers and I showed them what had been done in my son's closet and they said it was almost identical to what they would do. Well, I wanted better so I called The Closet Connection which is owned and operated by 1 man, Jamie Stafford. When Jamie came for my estimate I also showed him my son's closet and he pointed out several things that the other companies do that he improves on. Jamie hides all the hardware so there is no fasteners showing, he cuts out the trim, he caulks any gaps as walls are never straight, he prefers to stand th units on the floor for total adjustability and more structural support, and he was almost 30% less than the others.
