Comprehensive limb salvage treatments including angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, endarterectomy and bypass surgery. Total care for hemodialysis access, fistula creation and angioplasty. Extensive experience with thoracic and aortic aneurysm repair including endovascular stenting and open surgical repair. Full venous disease options including varicose veins, vein ulcers and central vein occlusions. I offer many percutaneous embolization techniques for pelvic congestion syndrome, intestinal bleeding, renal tumors and uterine fibroids. Board Certified Vascular Surgeon, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Vascular Society.

Dr. Alterman helped save my life and saved my left leg. While attempting to harvest a vein for a 4x CABG, he discovered that my left femoral artery was scarred from a previous trauma to the point of 100% blockage, and performed a femoral bypass with a synthetic artery.This not only saved my leg, but improved my quality of life dramatically. I have nothing but praise and accolades for Dr. Alterman.
