These guys are the best! I have been using them for years because it is rare to find a garage you can truly trust. Over those years it has more than paid off in honest advice on what needed to get done and what could wait, all the while never pressuring me into a decision and always taking the time to explain everything to me. Their vehicle report card, which rates the condition of certain areas of you vehicle when you bring it in, has been a great tool in giving me a heads up on when I need to replace certain things and therefore spend more. I have recommended them to all my friends and family and everyone had walked away with a positive experience.

I am so impressed by by the team at Precision Auto in Germantown. They explained the needed service clearly, dropped me at my doctor appointment while they serviced my car (then picked me up,) and my car runs better than it has in years. First class service all the way.

I have been going to these guys for years now and have never had a problem. Recently they did something that really impressed me and I felt like I should share it with everyone else. I had gotten in an accident and had taken my car to the nearest auto shop who told me it would cost me $3000 to fix. I called Andy up over at Precision auto and told him what had happened and he told me he thought the quote sounded high and asked me to send in the paper work the other auto shop made up for me. After looking at the paper work Andy told me their pricing didnt seem right to me and if I didnt mind he would like to take a look at the car personally. I had my car sent over there and after taking a look at it Precision Auto was able to fix my car for $800 saying the other company was ripping me off. I would recommend them to everyone I can, they do great work and are honest they could have easily taken me for 3000 but instead saved me $2,200.

Memo saved my day last week when we had a flat tire. I limped in to there shop with a flat tire and brakes squeaking. They were able to get me back on the road in a few hours. Two new tires and front brake pads solved my problem. The job was done on time and for a few dollars less than quoted. That was a surprise - I am used to being over the quote by 20 - 50 bucks. Thanks Memo.

On 12/30/2008, my husband and I went to Precision Auto in Germantown, Maryland to talk about a previous auto service. The owner of the shop did not appreciated our honesty about the fact my car was having the same issues with the washer fluid. The shop owner got upset with us and refused to work on my car, and demanded that we leave the shop. He escorted us out of the office and then he locked the door behind us. The hour was 2:00 pm.



The shop owner has very poor manager skills, and poor people skills. He was very unprofessional, rude, and unethical in treating customers. We do not recommend Precision Auto to any one in Germantown area.

They were very honest. I went in because my Dealer had told me I needed several fluids changes at 24,000 miles. Precision Auto checked my fluids, showed me the samples, and said everything was fine. They told me they would recheck again at 30,000. They saved me from being ripped off!I definitely recommend them. They are a family that lives in my community and they really do care about doing the right thing.

By no means the cheapest service but it gets one right the first time and it there are additional problems, you get it redone until it is right.
