S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 550 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. It conducts special education programs for students with learning and academic disabilities, as well as the English as a Second Language program. S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School s staff includes media specialists, special educators, teaching assistants, guidance counselors, nurses, reading coaches, art and music professionals, and health and physical education instructors. The school is a part of Montgomery County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States and serves nearly 139,000 students in over 195 educational institutions. Established in 1987, S. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School is located in Germantown, Md.
