i eat here about twice a week. the food isn't gonna wow you but it is very tasty with great portions for the price. it is family owned and orientated so if you become a regular people will know u by name when you walk in. it is a clean environment the tables are clean the waiters are nice and helpful and most of the dinner specials are very big portions and small prices.i would recommend eating here any day of the week breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I live in Georgetown within a minutes walk so I eat at the restaurant out of pure convienence once every couple weeks. Select dishes are pretty good, but you have to know what to get because almost all the dinners and some other items on the menu are rubish. The restaurant does use alot of pre-processed food items. I recommend the steak hoagies, chef salad, any burger, or lunch meat sandwich, and any breakfast item. The most of the dinners are over priced and if they require any skill will be over or poorly cooked. The only dinners I recommend are the country ham dinner, and the crab cake dinner, however again the portions are rather small for the price. Not a bad lunch destination, but don't waist a meal on dinner there. Its a shame to because Georgetown needs a nice restaurant and if only they put a little effort into the dinner food this place could be special. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because I cant choose 2.5 stars.

Excellent food for a excellent price! Great service, a nice clean atmosphere and great food. We take our family here once every couple months with some coupons we purchase from restaurant.com.

My dining companion and I stopped in for lunch and each ordered one of the two daily specials. We were totally underwhelmed by the food! To be fair, this family style restaurant has some good points: new building, clean, daily lunch specials priced around $6-$7. Unfortunately, the food is pure hillbilly slop. Special 1: Fish Tail Platter...The fish sandwich was deep fried and overcooked (stayed too hot to eat for a light year), cole slaw was food processed very finely and was so creamy that it resembled chunky applesauce, but the fries were good. Special 2: Chicken Parmesan on linguine...Pasta was overcooked, covered with bland marinara, topped with diced grilled chicken (I used to run a restaurant, the chicken was prediced, precooked and came out of a bag), sprinkled with mozzerella. Soggy garlic toast made with margarine was served on the side with a plastic container of sawdust-like grated parmesan. Can't imagine anybody paying the $20 dinner prices! I won't be back.
