Located in Genesee, Mich., The Genesee School District is a school system that operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Its academic curricula include reading, math, science, history, geography, economics, and writing. The system also administers various sports and extracurricular activities, such as football, volleyball, golf, basketball, softball, cheerleading, baseball, cross-country, wrestling and skateboarding. The district s schools conduct several enrichment classes such as computer and physical education, theatre and dance, and choir and music instruction. It has a parent-teacher organization that is group of parent volunteers who work to help and support students and staff members.
