Yummy food! Fast service! I recommend the hot turkey sandwich! The gobbler dinner looked really yummy too!

Our first time in Gaylord Michigan visiting family and we happened upon this fantastic family restaurant. We first went for breakfast and then for lunch that same day and we followed this pattern for the four days we were in Gaylord. The only reason we did not go there for dinner was because we had commitments each evening. Not only is the food fabulous but the staff is friendly and efficient. My husband, Joseph, claims the carrot cake was the best he has ever tasted and we ordered one to go and took it to our friends' for desert. The cake was gone in two sittings! And it was big! We made friends with Barb, baker and owner, after she introduced herself and was tickled by how much our family loved the food and desserts. I, having a few allergies, told her I wished I could indulge in dessert, but couldn't and upon finding that out Barb made me a special lemon meringue pie! It was FANTASTIC! And she told me she was making another and we planned to pick it up the night prior to us leaving for home, but we got tied up and didn't make it back to the restaurant before they closed. I was SO disappointed, but I plan to go back to Gobblers on our next visit! Thank you Barb and Gobbler staff! Love, Jo Schaech
