We just started our koi pond about 3 weeks ago its all been a learning experience. Every time we had a question or a problem these guys where there to help. We now have happy, beautiful fish. All our thanks goes out to these guys if you buy a koi or any kind of fish I recommend you go here these guys are great and very helpful.

Very rude people. I didn't buy my tank from them no, but being they are the only local saltwater life store in the area, everything I would need in the near future would come from here. And if you have a saltwater tank you know it's not a cheap hobby when properly maintained. On multiple occasions we were ignored and when not ignored talked down to as though we didn't know what we were doing and as if it was a problem to help us. The store was always empty when we went inside, now I know why. I will take my business to a place that appreciates and does not mind helping me get things started even though I didn't buy my aquarium from them. Even if I have to drive an hour away. The only thing this place has going good for them, is the old catfish and Oscars they have in their store. (Which was the reason for visiting the store to begin with).

This is one of the best fish stores I have ever been too. I love to travel and as I do I love to visit other stores... lol. When I moved to the area about 6 years ago I was pleasantly surprised with what I found at Wet Pets in Gastonia. The owner David, really made an effort to get to know me and what I was looking for. When I go in to the store, him or his wife always make an effort to say hello to me and they even pay attention and have at times known my filter size or light size when I was drawing a blank. They do a great job trying to remember the type of fish that everyone has so they will stop you if you are getting the wrong thing. Also every single fish has a dot on their tanks. Either green yellow or red and that makes it really easy to match fish together. Overall a great place, great people and great prices!
