We have an extended warranty with twice annual services. The technicians arrive when they are due and call usually an hour before arrival. They are courteous and quick. Excellent service.

After 6 visits and 4 months, I think Sears may have finally fixed the Kenmore Elite side-by-side stainless steel refrig. Time will tell. At visit two, the technician told me and his manager (over the phone) that the refrig. should be replaced. But the manager felt changing a bunch of parts over the course of many visits, plus wasting my time for each visit, was a better option. Seemed more like a trial and error approach, or how many parts can be changed before it hopefully works procedure. After adding up all the costs for the visits (covered under a service plan thankfully) two of these refrigerators at retail price could have been purchased. Still hoping the refrigerator will continue to work.
